Total and partial dentures

In maxilla when it is gummy (i.e. when there are no teeth) the full denture it is a good solution. It adapts very well in the upper jaw and almost “βεντουζάρει” over the gums and the mucous membrane of the upper jaw.

Everyone's wondering, “but how does he fit without glue?”

Since there are no teeth to keep it in the place of how it stands up there? Logically, shouldn't it fall? The answer here is that the negative pressure.

You can see the maxilla has the design of a suction cup. If you designed the denture properly then its boundaries enclose the upper jaw and the air that goes in between the denture and the mucosa in the dress of the denture's not coming back.

Of course there are a few methods that you can use every dentist to adjust as best as possible the full denture in the lower jaw, as to raise the limits of the denture or to put porcelain veneers instead of acrylic, as well as the porcelain is heavier. The results of these methods vary as every mouth is unique.

So what can we do to stay fixed artificial dentures in the mouth?

There are some solutions for this problem:

1. You can use a special glue or special stickers (sold in pharmacies). This method has served a lot of people. Can the stability to keep for a couple of hours, but a lot of people have settled in with this solution.
2. Sometimes the problem is solved by retreading the denture in the clinic of the dentist.

Partial dentures do not have a problem with restraint, as well as relying on teeth.

The only problem with that show is that they look the hooks that hold the teeth on the teeth. The hooks on these are metal and create an unsightly image in the smile of the patient.
